Poetry about nature

After being with Julia, who as a visual artist achieved tremendous mastery in seeing and capturing beauty in nature, I have been motivated to use words in the same way as she does the camera and the paint brush. It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words; so there was a thousand, and then a thousand, and then another thousand. One of my best experiences with this came when I, after seeing an incredibly beautiful day, came to the keyboard and said to myself, "Let's paint a Renoir."

The following poems are an application of the same principle.
